Beginning Quilting by Machine - Lexington

Download the class supply list HERE

This class will introduce you to quilting by machine and rotary cutting. You will learn tips and tricks, beginning with choosing fabrics, to make your quilting journey a successful one.  You also must have a 1/4” foot for the machine before the second class. If you don’t already have one, we will help you determine which foot will ft your machine
if you bring in the shank from your machine. Better yet, bring in the whole
machine at least two weeks before the first class. If need be, we can order a foot
for you.

Quilting should be enjoyable; it should relax you. It shouldn’t frustrate
you constantly or drive you to tears more than once a project. I am not a
believer in perfection. We are human, and as humans we make mistakes.
My quilting philosophy is that
you have to decide your level of perfection. It should not be decided by friends, other students, your teachers,
family, or anyone else. There is no such thing as the quilt police! (If there
were, they would have taken me away a long time ago
