  • Button installation
  • Proper garment finishing techniques on a standard sewing machine

Materials To Bring:
  • Sewing machine in good, working order
  • Coordinating thread, ideally polyester

Please understand that due to the group environment of this class, we will not be doing special alterations to the pattern (i.e. length, other alterations that take extra time) other than those already built into the pattern. The purpose of this class is to introduce students to the rules and techniques of garment sewing. While we value quality and expect students to take their time and be intentional about their sewing, we cannot guarantee that the finished garment will be absolutely perfect.
