Birds on a Wire Quilt SUMMERVILLE

This project is a great scrap buster or way to use up all those yummy little pieces of fabric every quilter has laying around.

Quilt can be made in any size from baby (38”x38”) all the way to a large throw (74”x74”).

Class will cover assembling the quilt top, and there will be homework. Class does not cover quilting and binding.

Skills Learned:

Cutting and color planning
First round of log cabins showing trim down process
Final block assembly round and full trim down
Design wall arrangement, assembling rows and borders, discuss quilting techniques and options

Pre-Class Preparations:

Decide what size you’d like to make and collect all fabrics for quilt top. If you’re unsure, come by the Summerville shop for a fabric consultation! We have plenty of lovely fabrics to help complete your quilt.
