The Business of Embroidery - The Basics
You're invited to learn the Business of Embroidery! This event will feature multi-needle and flat-bed embroidery machines for the ultimate guide on how to run your embroidery business.
Learn from Becky & Bari Robinson, who have over a decade of embroidery-focused business experience. Each session will focus on a different aspect of running your embroider business, whether you're just starting out or looking for inspiration for your existing business.
Session 1 - The Basics:
We will focus on topics such as picking out the right machine for your business's needs, solving the mystery of stabilizers, and specialty techniques such as applique
Session 2 - Production:
Production - This hands-on session will focus on hooping techniques and getting comfortable with running a production line. We will complete 2-3 projects in this session.
Session 3 - Digitizing & Profitability:
- Learn how a digitizing program can change the game for your embroidery business, whether you're creating your own custom designs or generating logos for local schools and sports teams!
- Profitability - We will be discussing the financial side of running your embroidery business. This session will cover topics such as how to price your work, where to source your materials and supplies, and more!
There are many tools and accessories that will increase the production and profitability of your business. In this session we will discuss some of these amazing accessories such as cap frames, clamp systems, magnetic frames, and alternative hooping methods to work smarter, not harder.
Students may attend one, any or all sessions that they choose; Students who attend all fours sessions will receive a $50 gift card from Sew Suite at the end of the event!
