The Art of Thread SUMMERVILLE
Join Baby Lock Ambassador, Linda Bratten, for an exploration of the Art of Thread! This two-day sewing and embroidery event will feature two projects that will take your creativity to new heights.
The first project is a mouse pad created with Baby Lock's exclusive built-in digitizing program, IQ Designer. Linda will be teaching step-by-step how to create your very own blackwork mouse pad.
The second project is a beautiful free-motion quilted pumpkin that will teach you thread sketching and thread painting techniques.
And if that isn't enough, the cherry on top is that once those projects are finished, you will be embellishing them with watercolors and fabric makers to make it truly your own!
Machines will be provided for the first day of class. For the second day of class, you may bring your own sewing machine with free-motion capabilities. This is a perfect opportunity to learn what your machine can do and get practice on it with a new skill!
Please let us know in the drop down menu if you will be bringing your machine on the second day. We will have a "valet" service where you can bring your machine ahead of time and we will set it up for you at the event.
