Free Motion Basics - SUMMERVILLE
This class is a basic introduction into Free Motion quilting on your sewing machine.
This much freedom can be scary, and at times, frustrating. We can say with certainty that you won't sew perfectly the first time you try. But that's OK! Perfection is overrated. The key is to practice.
This class is a great scrap buster to use what you already have lying around.
Supplies Needed:
6-8 Sandwiches (not the kind you eat!) (top fabric, batting, bottom fabric-about the size of a fat quarter), good quality thread, bobbins ready to go, quilting needles, scissors, snips, tweezers, frixion pen/marker, free motion foot for your sewing machine, quilting gloves recommended but not required, a sewing machine in good working order that you can drop the feed dogs on, machine manual
