Sewing pajamas is a perfect beginner sewing class for many reasons! Join us for a Pajama Party and sew your own pair of pajama shorts!

- Everyone needs pajamas. (Well, most of us do.)
- Once you have made one pair you will find them a very quick and satisfying sew.
- Pajamas make great gifts.
- You can customize your pajamas which is so much fun!
What you will learn in this class –
- How to choose the appropriate size pattern – it is usually not the size you wear in store bought garments.
- Seam Finishing Techniques to make your garments last longer through many wash cycles.
- How to create a waste casing and insert elastic.
- Tips and tricks for even hems and perfect seam allowances.
- Optional learn to make button holes.

Class Materials:
- Small Size Range – 60” or 42” wide fabric 1 1/8 – 2.75 yards
- Larger Size Range – 60” wide fabric 1.25-3 yd; 42” wide fabric 1.5 – 3.5 yards
- 1” wide non-roll elastic the length of your waist
- Small scrap of interfacing
- Coordinating Thread, pins/clips, fabric scissors/rotary cutter, needle and sewing machine
Optional Materials:
- Twill tape or drawstring for waist
- Tracing Paper if you would like to trace out your size.
- Bodkin for threading elastic, you can use a safety pin
- Clover hot hemmer
- Snips
